About Dr. Gathright
Todd
Gathright, DDS, is a native Texan, and received his Bachelor
of Science from Louisiana Tech University in 1993. He received
his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Louisiana State University
School of Dentistry in 1997. During his sophomore year in
dental school, Dr. Gathright was chosen for the Naval Health
Scholarship Collegiate Program that entailed a four year commitment
to serve in the United States Navy.
Dr. Gathright was one of 25 candidates selected nationwide
to participate in a General Practice Residency (GPR) program
in Portsmouth, Virginia. This yearlong, hospital-based residency
provided him with hands-on experience working with experts
in specialty areas such as oral surgery, endodontics, periodontics,
and prosthodontics. Following his residency, Dr. Gathright
was stationed in Gulfport, Mississippi, where he practiced
in the Gulfport Dental Clinic. During this time he was also
deployed to Spain and Guam, where he served as Department
Head of the Dental Clinic.
Upon completion of his military service, Dr. Gathright moved
to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and opened a practice in Arlington and Southlake.

Dr. Gathright and his wife, Stephanie, have a daughter, Emily.
In his
spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling,
woodworking, and camping.
